We have been working with the white flour recipes (french, overnight buns, air/beer buns, etc.) to get the basics. Our family, like you, loves the hearty brown breads. I am very excited to show her your recipe and give it a go. THANK YOU for posting! The west coast of british columbia were we live has the most amazing sprouted grain breads (no flour!) which we can buy almost everywhere. Sorry about your sad bread buying options. Perhaps you will be part of something magical in the UK.
